The Festival is organised by the <a href="http://www.napier.govt.nz/index.php?pid=138&#038;rid=280">New Zealand China Friendship Society</a> and this is the first annual tournament of the new <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawke%27s_Bay_Region">Hawkes Bay</a> Go Club.
